Festivaliga "Ökokallas" kaasnev konkurss noorarhitektidele

We are delighted to announce that for the first time the International Festival "Eco-Shore" will be hosted at The Black Sea coast of Ukraine.
Between 5- 8 September 2013, the city of Iljichiovsk (Odessa) will host the annual festival "Eco-Shore", dedicated to the architectural development of the coastal areas.

The founder and the organiser of the event is the Union of Moscow Architects along with the co-organizer - the National Union of Architects of Ukraine.

This year's festival slogan is "The Coast of Dreams. The Coast of Hope".

The program includes - more than 12 countries participating in thematic exhibitions, scientific conference  "Coastal landscape - the basis of cultural and socio-economic development of the region", presentations and master-classes led by leading architects, tours of the new building objects of Ilyichevsk and Odessa Yacht Regatta for the Mayor's Cup of the city of Iljichiovsk involving the participation of both architects and guests. The festival includes a competition for young architects for "The Best architectural and town planning concept of modernization, development and improvement of the coastal territory of Iljichiovsk".

The founders of the festival are hoping to strenghten a dialogue between the professionals and public on the theme of "Architecture and Water" and we are happy to invite architects of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Georgia, Poland, Serbia and Turkey to participate in the festival and competition.

We are looking forward to your assistance in attracting and encouraging young architects to participate in the festival and competition, and placing this information on your web site.
